Privacy Policy — Cascade
Last updated: June 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Cascade mobile game ("Cascade", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using Cascade you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account identifier. When you first open the app we create an anonymous account so your progress can be saved and synced. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we associate that sign-in with your account. We do not collect your name, email, or contacts beyond what you explicitly use to sign in.
- Game & economy data. Your scores, rankings, virtual currency (coins/gems), cosmetic ownership, daily rewards, quests, and match results are stored on our servers so they persist across sessions and devices.
- Purchase records. When you make an in-app purchase, we store a record of the transaction (product, transaction ID) to deliver your purchase and prevent duplicate grants. Payment itself is handled by Apple — we never receive your card or payment details.
- Advertising data. We show ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your consent and device settings, AdMob may access an advertising identifier (IDFA) and related data to serve and measure ads.
- Diagnostic data. We may collect basic, non-identifying gameplay/usage events to understand and improve the game.
How we use information
- To run core features: saving progress, leaderboards, real-time player-vs-player duels, rewards, and purchases.
- To show and measure advertising.
- To prevent fraud and abuse (e.g., verifying scores and purchases).
- To improve the game.
Third-party services
We rely on these providers, each with its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — backend, accounts, and data storage.
- Google AdMob — advertising.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases.
- Google — Google sign-in (if used).
Advertising & tracking choices
On first launch we ask for your tracking preference (Apple's App Tracking Transparency) and, where required, present a consent form. You can change ad personalization at any time in your device Settings, and you can purchase "Remove Ads" to remove interstitial and banner ads.
Children
Cascade is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention & deletion
We retain your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account), or by emailing us; we will complete deletion within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
